高校入試でよく出題される問題として

・あなた自身のことを知れる問題（例）あなたの大事なものは？
・行ってみたい国や場所
・あなたが将来したいこと（例）将来、なりたい職業は何ですか？
・自由な時間があるときに何をするか。
・中学校生活での思い出
・高校時代に頑張りたいこと

以上の6つのテーマについては、よく出題されます。

あなたの大事なもの（宝物）

【問題】あなたが大事にしている宝物について教えてください。ただし、20語以上25語以内で書きなさい。

あなたの大事なもの（宝物）については、モノだけでなく、友人や家族など広げて考えていくと比較的英作することができると思います。しっかり、「理由」まで記述することで、字数を補完することもできますし、英作自体に説得力をつけることができます。

＜解答例1＞
My treasure is our dog Pochi. My father gave it to me for my birthday. Pochi always makes us happy.

＜解答例2＞
All of my friends are my treasure. I like to talk and play with them. They always help me when I’m in trouble.

like to 「～することが好き」

どこに行きたいか

【問題】Now you have a lot of money and free time. Where do you want to go what you want to do there?

どこに行きたいか。と問われたら、まず真っ先に国や場所を明示し、その理由やそこで何をしたいのかを記述していくといいでしょう。特徴のある国や場所があると書きやすいでしょう。

I want to go to America and watch basketball games.

want to 「～したい」
go to　「～に行く」

＜解答例2＞×具体的な国を挙げるのが望ましい
I want to travel around the world and make a lot of friends.

a lot of ＝many 「たくさんの」
around 「周り」

あなたが将来したいこと（職業）

【問題】あなたは、将来は、何になりたいですか？理由も含めて25語以上35語以内で書きなさい。

＜解答例1＞
I want to be a doctor in the future to help sick people in the world because there’re still many people who cannot have enough care from doctors.

want to be　「～になりたい」
in the future 「将来」
sick「病気の」
there’re「～がある、～がいる」
many people who cannot have enough care from doctors. → many peopleが先行詞で主格whoの関係代名詞

＜解答例2＞
I want to be a photographer and take　many pictures of soccer games all over the world. Because I like both taking pictures and watching exciting soccer

take picture「（写真を）撮る」
take part in「～に参加する」
take care of「～を世話する」
take off「～を脱ぐ、離陸する」

【問題】What do you like to do in your free time ?25語以上35語以内で書きなさい。

＜解答例1＞
I like to listen to music in my free time. My favorite musician is Stevie. I listen to his CD when I feel sad. His music always makes me happy.

feel 形容詞「形容詞～に感じる」

中学校生活での思い出（楽しかったこと）

【問題】中学時代に楽しかった思い出について教えてください。ただし、40語以上50語以内で書きなさい。

I enjoyed my school trip to Kyoto. There are many old buildings there. They are very famous and popular among people from foreign countries. I liked the Kyoto Tower best. From the tower we could see the beautiful view of Kyoto.

among「（3つ以上の）間」

【問題】What do you want to do when you become a high school student ?

＜学業と部活と並列させる＞
I’ll study English hard because I want to get a job in a foreign country in the future. I also want to join the basketball team and make the team strong.

＜部活動に絞る＞
When I become a high school student, I want to join the soccer team. I have played soccer for three years, and I will keep practicing it in high school because　I love it.

＜学業以外を頑張る＞
When I become a high school student,　I want to make a band with my friends because I like music very much. I will play the guitar in the band.
